Looks like I'm not the only one having trouble finding people in the game :wave:
I'm at the point in the game where I have reached a kinda stalemate. Just took care of the bug problem in Calisto and retraining militia again, lost my central SAM site, Troy morale still bad, and my 2 merc support squad in Rudesa being surrounded by a host of elite red dots.
Pretty spread out now my squads, and was hoping to find Carmen cos I got a head for him, and also to get the SAWs to arm Morgan and Haywire.
btw, with regard to my Blair/SAW problem, I killed the pablo guy sometime in between, and Sal took his place. Then I move a merc to speak to him and he says,' I got a heavy delivery for you' or something. Greased his palms but still no SAW..arghhhh
But all in all, it's a darn good game. All these 'snags' just makes it all the more challenging and realistic, and makes me wanna keep on plugging away, just like in real life

Possibly, but I don't think so. I received Blair's message as soon as I liberated my 5th town, Drake (and right after the Queen cutscene). I hadn't even met Blair yet, which naturally caused some confusion.
This does not mean, however, that there couldn't be another trigger. Naturally, if you've conquered Sheraton earlier and met Blair, you'll get the message sooner. However, I did not touch Sheraton when I received the message...I did however conquer FIVE cities. So there are probably two triggers:
1) Conquered Sheraton, rescued Blair, and escorted him to airport.
OR
2) Conquered 5 towns (even if one of those towns is not Sheraton, and you didn't talk to Blair!)
@Blade: Maybe in your case,trigger #1 didn't work because Sal, instead of Pablo, was overseeing the shipments?
I still think you should take a 5th town and see if that works.

Hi.
I got two SAWs a week or so after escorting Blair and wife to the chopper.
THEN I got two more (and his thank you mail) when I had liberated five cities.
Go me!

Well, I never found Bruce, and I checked every sector 3 times, of course I said hi to a lot of bad dudes, but they fell asleep.
Anyways, so I got rid of Miranda, moved on to Sheraton, got Blair out, now I am waiting for the reward.

I got my reward kinda strange actually.
Because with those 2 M249's I got 2 clips of 7.62 NATO 20 Round Clip AP ammo.
LOL, guess that was a little funny actually.
