The good'ole corporate folks in Danubia must not be tipping Frank very well. He is so ready to drop dimes on everyone who is someone in Danubia and how to find them and take them out.
Be sure to tip him nice or he might rat you out next.
"What's that a group of armed mercenaries coming through here? Yeah just saw them an hour ago. They were all shot up and low on ammo. They said something about hiding in the Fire Station between here and downtown. You know there's only a couple of doors into that building. You catch them, you fry them for me. Lousy, no-tipping rat-b@#tards.Why thank you for the generous tip."

Hey I got commissioned! Haven't been an officer in about 11 years. Hope promotions go a little faster than in real life:)

... just think of how many bartenders we'd have if every bar in Danubia had it's own NPC. Surprised That was the intention at one point, AFAIK.

Here's a question. Has anyone managed to find a bartender who will advise you of Carmen's movements?? This was programmed in JA2, but I cannot get any info in JA2UC. In JA2, as long as the merc had a head when talking to the correct bartender (or nurse), he would advise if he had seen Carmen, and where he was headed next.
Those heads are really stinking up my ALICE packs!!

Any help would be appreciated. Very Happy

Gallagher.
Originally Carmen mentioned his own movements but this speech was replaced as it became important for players to meet him immediately upon arrival.
Originally he was random between A9, A10, B13, C13 .... hanging out in the bars off course.

The bartenders are all concentrated in Calisto because it makes sense to inform players about NPCs & quest information before they bump into a whole bunch of strangers all over the country.
Most players will move from Atremo to Calisto so by that stage they have a good situational awareness regarding objectives & location of baddies. This is about the only linear aspect of UC.
