Hello!

When I was playing halfway, Brenda's forces attacked and captured the Calisto Airport. A few hours later, Fred reported that the mine is running out. Is this normal ?

Even after recapturing the airport, it still says that the mine will run out soon.

I am on day 22 only.

In the original game (if merory serves me well) Drassen's mine ran out even if it wasn't ever captured by the Queens troops.

I think that in original JA2 or in JA2:DL one of the mines run out of gold. But not only Drassen, I think it`s random. Just now my Galileo mine runs out. It does not depend on capturing the sector by enemy.

one of YOUR CAPTURED mines will run out about 3 weeks after the first one is captured. Correct me if I'm wrong. Cheers!

And sometimes not a single one runs out if you get lucky. In my current game, the bad news came in from Calisto while I was going to attack Sheraton, so I had to rush a bit to keep myself from running out of money (Sheraton only produces 4000 a day). So I think it's just normal.
