 Always felt that binoculars was an important item missing from the original. To my delight I have found some monuculars. However, it doesn't seem to give much more sight. Does anyone know if it works better from rooftops?

 I have found the monoculars extremely useful. It gives you something like 2 tiles extra sight, which means you will always spot the enemy first. My tactic is to have the spotter slowly move forward in real-time mode, followed by other mercs with long-range weapons. When my spotter finds enemies, the game turns to turn-based and my snipers finish the enemy off. Any new enemies rushing to scene are gunned down by my spotter, who always gets the interrupts (auto-weapon export with PK). Smile

 The monoculars are different from sungoggles. Can't remember where I found mine, but I think you can buy them in Rudesa...

 Rudesa sector L12 (casino)top middle you will find a shop and down right is another. If they don't sell it the first time, come back another day. Also can be bought at Gotham Airport.
