Greetings all,
Can someone please give me the grid square, where you can find the heli pilot in UC. Also can someone please post the names of all the NPCs that are recuritable and their locations.

Don't know the exact coords, but the helicopter pilot can be found where Skyrider always used to be, i.e. somewhere east of Callisto.

The RPC's I found so far:

Rosebud (Atremo, Airport)
Rude Dog (Atremo, Biker Bar)
Tex (Callisto, Betty Fong Shop)
Postie (random road sector)
Spike, Kelly, Cobra, (Skitz?) (Galileo Basement)

will UC still give the 'your mercs have noticed someone in the sector' message? I've searched all the sectors west or North of the town that replaced Drassen,and still haven't found him

okay, so uh, where should I find this guy? I've taken calisto, and searched all the sectors north of it, and east of it (including south one square, and all the way east as well)

1. Talk to Diago. He will tell that the pilot is hidding somewhere near Calisto and that someone in town must know his location.
2. In the sector with Betty's store, talk to one of the civilians (after the battle is over, of couse). He or she will tell you that an helicopter pilot is hidding "at a farm xy from here". XY is the direction in wich you should search (south-west, etc)
3. Beware, if there are enemies in the sector where Goose is hidding you will not get the "Your team has noticed someone in sector x" message. You must eliminate the enemies first and then search for him in the house or the houses in that sector. His location is randomized so only the civilians in Betty store's sector can point out the direction in wich you should search. Sometimes he is just on the on the most eastern sector from C13, where is only a car, a peasant and some crates. But in other games I did find him west of Calisto, so talk to those civilians first and only after that search the sectors on that direction to find Goose.

As in JA2, it's totaly random. You have to speak to some civilian for the game to make it's mind where to put him.

Not really! In JA2 I found the pilot without speaking to a civilian, sometimes even before entering Drassen for the first time (sometimes he is in D12 sector and in JA2 I usually enter Drassen from that sector). So maybe his location is generated when you leave Omerta, or even earlier, when you start a new game. Dunno, have too look into the source code to be sure.

Goose is a ramdomly generated appearance injust a few sectors. I don't know exactly how the game engine determines where he shows up but I've always found him East of Callisto in UC.

Goose is randomly generated in one of the sectors that were swamp sectors in JA2 where the pilot might appear. There were five of them as I recall, four east of Drassen so east is indeed quite likely.

Two were north of the SAM site, one was SW of it and one was west of Drassen.

No! Goose isn't from Pilot Wings, it's from TopGun! He dies when he and Maverick eject and he gets his brains bashed in! Fly into the dangerzone...
