Hey, I haven't played Jagged Alliance 2 in ages and noticd that Urban Chaos had come out so decided to download. Not caught up on it's developments and current events and all that I was kind of lost once I began to play it and had a couple of questions.

What is the trigger grouper? (I think that's what it's called)

And what exactly is the story behind Urban Chaos? Heh, I read it but it seems kind of flimsy and just really offers a reason to kill things, haha, not that I really care, I like killing things, I was just wondering.

Well that's all for now. Thanks

And if you ever FIND one to use please go to the thread dealing with its location and post it. The thing has been most elusive in my games.

That's strange, I've found about 5 or 6 only halfway of the country

The trigger group ia a weapon component that you use to upgrade your M4. The story is told to you in the emails you get and the info files in your computer. Things are made clearer when you speek to some of the in game caracters. Anyway who need an excuse to kill lots of baddies??

In the old links from AIM there is a Gunsmithing Database (GD) that will give you an idea of the ki d of upgrades you can make to the lowly CAR-15 that you should find in the Atremo subway office.
For those of you who don't like to read the content ingame because you'd rather be throwing bullets at someone, The Car-15 takes a 1:17 twist barrel as an attachment to turn it into the heavier hitting M4, which in turn takes the Trigger Group as an attachment and turns into the M41A (?) and can then sustain the PSO-1 sniperscope and adapter plus the grenade launcher if you so choose. I highly recommend this as a nightops weapon with a suppressor on it.

A high ranking government official, carrying a list of all of the Covert Ops that you know, was aboard a downed aircraft inside the borders of restricted airspace. Danubia has been in the throes of rebellion for some time and the chances of this list falling into the wrong hands are very great.
Admiral Dunlap of the Global Defence Network (GDN)has enlisted your aid in rescuing Ambassador Blair and retreiving the list, both intact.
Once in the country, the player finds that The Crepaton Corporation is actually controlling the country and have the Ambassador imprisoned as well as pouring the highly sought after drug into the market in huge amounts.
Your mission, if you choose to accept it, Mr Phelps, is to KILL EVERYTHING IN YOUR PATH.

The previous message will self destruct in five seconds...

Now if UC only had rubber masks you could conveniently disguise yourself as Deadeye, sneak into the palace using complicated electronic gizmos, and waste Brenda mid sentence. Very Happy

Or you could drop in through the skylight...

One thing I noticed about UC, there are a ton more baddies to waste.

Alas, the most overlooked element of the game. I would love to blow a hole in a roof and jump down through.
