I took the rifle from the bike in front of the bar and quickly went to the map screen. I planned on avoiding these thugs, but I have now read that there is an NPC that will join you indoors. If I go there, will he now be hostile, too, or can I still pick him up? Just curious.

There will be bikers inside/outside hostile i believe, but no rudedog should not agro unless you shoot him directly.
