I've heard alot about adding Night Ops to a Merc, and making the peferct IMP.

But, how do you guys do it?

Your merc can can have two skills or a speciality in one area to the best of my knowledge (like stealth and night ops, or a speciality in night ops or stealth. If you go to the GA Galaxy web page, http://www.strategyplanet.com/jaggedalliance/
check out the section on JA2, downloads, and download patusco's strartegy guide. How you complete the question when you are making your custom IMP will determine what skills the IMP will come with when he/she gets in country. I think that the strategy guide will tell you how to answer the questions to get the type of merc you want to play.

Or you can downlaod the JAPE from the JA Galaxy and tweak your mecr with the skills and abilities you want.

The good thing about JA is there are many types of builds to play.

Your night ops ability allows you to see an additional hex or two for eack level of the skill. That helps with getting the initial interupt. Night goggles and UV goggles gives an edge to your merc at night too.

Stealth is a good skill. Auto weapons a good one too. I found, especially with UC that lockpick is a handy addition to a merc'c skills.

When you installed Urban Chaos, IMPed appears in the main directory.
Fiddle with this, then start a new game. Instead of typing "xep624", type "90210" and your modified IMP will be added to the roster (and $3000 deducted from your finances).
