In JA1, grenades were my favorite weapon (My other favorite was the modified .357 with a sniper scope, talk about cool..)

In fact, if you had enough grenades, you could use them in just about any situation! I used them all the time, it sure helped against those bullet proof trees and bushes.

Although, JA2 was the first game I played, and let me tell you, back then and till this day, I was pretty disappointed in the grenades, to the point where I either ignored them, or shoved them into the trash bin. They seemed to barely effect enemies, even the beginning enemies on my way to Drassen ; ;.

Pretty much the same thing with Unfinished Business.

But boy did I love SOG'69 (I always call it, Shades of Grey, for some sentimental reason).

The powerful but unstable Molotov Cocktails, the absolutely scary

When the AI used it..

RPG-7 grenade launcher, and the amazing Radio+Artillery Request. I always got really sad whenever I ran out of those.

I don't know why, but I haven't tried using grenades of any sort in Urban Chaos, until now.

After extensive tests with Fox and Trevor, I found out that the Hand Grenades and the 40mm Fragmentation Grenades do over +30 points to a fully armored character, and tends to incinerate the enemies and airport security in the first town with one blast.

Further more, you can hold over 8 40mm grenades in one large inventory slot O.o Doing that math, you could theoretically carry a whole lotta firepower with just one person.

I now use Meltdown as my heavy weapons dude Very Happy

I learned that the RPG-7 is in this game too, except that instead of lobbing grenades, its like a reuseable LAW, that you can attach a scope too.

Thank you very much, people who made Urban Chaos, for making grenades and other explosives fun and worthwhile.

Once again, they are going to play a great role in my tactics.

40mm gernades were a big help in Prax against all the soldiers waiting behind cover near the subway. Boom! =splatter= Very Happy

All the TNT, C4, etc. in the game is also handy for when soldiers are hiding behind a door thinking to ambush me. Very Happy
