Most of the people from MERC and about 75% of the locals suck IMO (though some major exceptions exist later in the game). Therefore, if I were limited to only 5 picks, I'd have to draw them from AIM because you actually pay a good penny for them.

1. Buns - Too many people hate her, and she comes across as a major bitch.
2. Hitman - His only saving grace is his personality. Otherwise he's washed up like his profile says.
3. Steroid - I used to like him, but then I discovered my favorite Russian duo. Now he's a liability.
4. Raider - ARGH! So annoying.
5. Raven - Why her when you could have Lynx?

Flo, Biff, and Ira are actually kinda useful, and I recruit them for every game. I get access to other MERC characters (like Cougar) much faster. Flo and Biff are good for running guns, and Ira is good for training milita and as a doctor.
