I played with the editor for at least 20 minutes and it didn't crash at all. Now I would like to update some of the default maps like the Hicks's Farm, Cambria and The weapons cache southwest of Balime, where there are unreachable places or missing walls.

I believe the editor saves the maps in "$HOME/.ja2/data/maps", but the game always loads the default ones, not the patched ones, even in new games. Is it possible to make it use mine ? Do I have to use special compile-time variables ?

Edit: OK, I found how.

It's once again a problem of case sensitiveness: the editor saves "A9.dat" and the game tries to load "A9.DAT" in the file "Build/Strategic/StrategicMap.cc", function "GetMapFileName()".

My oter problem is that I moved my maps in "$data_dir/data/...", like I do for Kaerar's guns replacement pack for example, which is the place where the game data is installed. But the game expects them in "$HOME/.ja2/data/...", the place where the editor saves them, my personal directory where my savegames are. It makes the guns a system-wide replacement while the maps are a per user replacement.
