Just replayed this after playing JA3. Pretty fun. Betty works/talks/trades. Raul works/talks/trades. Need to get a working mine for varez and figure out how to look at the lua code to get a couple of the quests in there. Figure out how to not crash the game by choosing to not hire biggins and clicking to assign militia in the newly created Varez.
