Jura Jura,
Take the chopper south. Then clear out the South West first. Keep an eye out for tunnels, the lighter, and the Medicare package. The Medicare package is not morphine or some cool stuff to heal your mercs, so it must be for something (or someone else). Wink

Keep the inscribed lighter on you. You'll figure out what to do with that next. Save before you take J15, just in case the dude with what you need next splashes in the water and you miss it.
There's also a tax collector to be on the lookout for, detailed in the read me. Keep a saved game after you find the item of interest in J15, just in case you miss out on something else later - that way you can avoid what happened to me where you can't go back...
I started up a new game and decided to reward my previous effort by just taking my IMP merc and sneaking him all the way to Tah Ning. I spoke to no one, and trained/practiced his stats up the wazzoo for 97 days. Took out a bunch of the maps west of Tah Ning to boost his agility and marksmanship too. He's level seven with most of his stats in the 80s and 90s. I figure, what the hell!? I know one tripped out merc isn't going to really alter the game in the long run, but it might help me move through all the sectors I have to replay a little faster. Goin' to liberate west Tah Ning, next, get the transmitter and hire some mercs, and let them go after the golden buddha. (also, a hot tip; practice your 35 leadership up to 65 and you can hire Taylor no problem. I missed him the last time around and just by his first lines he seems to have a more normal and less annoying personality than some - like Tex. Hell, I'll take Short Round from the Temple of Doom in place of Tex. At least Short Round is smart enough to dodge the bullets rather than attract them.) :digit: :rulez:
