Well, unfortunately I had tried every conceivable combination of both my original and gold versions of JA2:UB (patched/non-patched), etc. and in every case I getting the error when it trys to add sector N-9. It is complaining about population >32. Is there some sort of mod that allows greater than 32 population that everyone installed on their computer except me?

I opened the map with the editor and did see that on difficult level the number of admins was 20 & troops was 13. Since that totals to 33 would that cause the problem?

[FOLLOW-UP] OK, I figured it out. I was playing on "expert" mode. I re-read the directions and discovered that we are supposed to play on "experienced" mode. That is why nobody else was probably getting this error. I went and started a new campaign on experienced mode and encountered no problems adding that sector. So the problem does lie with the # of population for that map set at "33" on expert level.

Now 2 questions:

(1) What are the mechanical differences between the 2 levels and why did he choose "experienced" instead of "expert" level

(2) Is there any way I can convert my existing saved game to "experienced" so that I do not have to start over?
