Your absolutely right about me not knowing about firearms. First: I'm from the Netherlands, it's not allowed to own a gun in the Netherlands, and a good thing that is! (but now I'm just giving my opinion, and that's besides the point).

On the other hand, I know enough about physics to understand your explanation, so... Thanks! :ok:

The reason I asked this question is that I have the tendecy to search for the mathematics behind certain elements of the game (I really enjoy mathematics...). Did so with Masters of Magic, Heroes of might and magic, and now again with Jagged Alliance.

Seems like its a bit more complicated in the JA series (more factors are involved...).
Well, time for some trial and error then...
