Sorry if this has been asked before. Hows does rate of fire affect a weapon's accuracy, AP and suppression capabilities?

I'm playing 1.13 v1080. Thanks!

It doesn't have any effect on accuracy AFAIK, but the higher your RoF is, the more bullets you can put down-range for a given number of AP - making said weapon's burst- or auto-fire that much more effecient at shredding or suppressing bad-guys. I've armed Flo(!) with a PPSh-41 tricked out with R&S and reflex sight, notched up full APs, and put almost forty rounds down-range in the first burst during a Defence of Drassen, driving a clump of seven elites and redshirts to their knees or lower. (She even scored hits on three of them, and killed one that Buns' battle-scoped Garand had left 'critical'! :maskedsniper:)

a tricked out WW2 weapon! Cool.

so, higher ROF => more bullets => better suppression? That's why the Minimi is so popular as LMG?

Well, that and the fact that it's fairly light, can use some handy accessories, and gives you 200 rounds of kick-ass between reloads. Very Happy Personally, though, I don't use the Minimi - my usual weapons mix is MG36s for the assaulters and M14s for my squad marksmen.

I love the MG36.

Yo dawg, we heard you liked versatile automatic weapons, so we put a hundred round magazine and a select fire mechanism in your G36.
