First point... Best idea ever and pretty damn impressed... And with me having no knowledge of just how much work it takes.. let me say please keep up the awesome work on MP...
Spent some time reading through and understand there will be a new MP version out soon so prepared to happily wait for that... I'm sure my issues are nothing new but just here for reference...
2 XP systems, beside each other on ADSL connection, running the same version of the game with correct files loaded (read straight off previous posts).
Co-op:
1) General latency issues - Enemies skipping / interrupts occurring oddly etc...
2) Upon start of game, Load up appeared to freeze - both systems came up with awaiting clients to connect and would not allow placement of mercs...
3) AI caused an interrupt, however system hung doing nothing indefinitely until we closed them.
Deathmatch:
Upon start, Player 1 came in contact with Player 2 merc (at original starting zone for JA2), not where player 2 was located, upon killing merc, connection dropped.
General:
Several connectivity issues previously mentioned on the forum as well as inventory issues.
After 5 hours of setting up mercs we managed about 45 minutes of game time (this involved approximately 10 games, certainly not a broad spectrum of attempts.)
Please don't flame. I did read through and know these are known issues.
I'm Just curious as to any way to stabilize mp until the next version.

Thanks for the answer on the first one, as for bug 2... well i think it might have been a random occurrence between the two machines so I doubt it could be intentionally re-produced.
Possibly the client lost the connection to the server during the transfer of data... causing it to semi-hang with the waiting message rather than finalize connection or drop all together.

Excuse, and when the working version of a mode co-operative society is planned?? I mean full joint passage of game
For example in the very first sector Omerta. The mercenary standed on a mine does not receive damages, and thus there is inscription "Explosives not coded in MP"

In version 1.5
In Cambria hospital.
In the front entrance to hospital I had Ivan and Reaper positioned. A adversaries mercenary (Steroid) approached the window and I had a successful hit. On the next turn he fired back at Ivan depleting many Action points. I made the decision to retreat with Ivan and threw a smoke grenade at the window with Reaper. Steroid was still able to shoot Ivan knocking him out of commision. I was also able to shoot Steroid through the smoke with Reaper. So.....
My question is this. Are smoke grenades totally useless or, was it just because I was on the inside of the building and my opponent was on the outside?
