OK, it's me again. Just pieced together what is going on with this 'coolness' thing, although it is not explained anywhere. So we start out with low level weapons and over time progress to better and better toys. OK, so I go back and start all over again, not that I haven't done that before , and use the INI Editor to give my guy a coolness level 1 weapon, i.e. a pistol. Not a problem and the idea sounds like fun.
However, I have gotten as far a Drassen before and bought stuff from Bobby Ray. The problem I'm seeing is that Bobby was willing to sell me ANYTHING, regardless of coolness level. I suspect that is not right. What am I doing wrong?
Also in the initial game start up/set up, there are the four choices for Bobby Ray's Selection - Normal, Great, Wonderful? and Awesome. What do the different choices mean?

Returning to once again see if I can get out of Omerta once and for all.

AkmatovHmm, does Awesome mean I still get to see all of the stuff, just later on in the game, or does it does it mean I'll never see some items?
Is there a value somewhere that tells me what Coolness I'm in?
Awesome means you will see better items sooner, you'll have a large selection at Bobby Ray's right after taking Drassen. By the time you're ready for Meduna Bobby Ray's will have pretty much every item available.
The current Coolness level is determined by your current progress. Hit V (either in tactical or strategic mode) to see the current progress.
Coolness = (Progress / 10, rounded down) + 1
So if your current progress is 25, you'd get 2.5, rounded down to 2, + 1, giving you a coolness of 3.
