I found a sawed-off shotgun in the subway station. The description says something about merging it before use. Also the FAQ PDF says:

it means you have to 'attach' a toolbox to it before you can repair it - that is wil's way to repair 'mapped' items to uc1.13-standards - that does not deplete your toolbox
