Hi,my name is Andrei. As this is to be my first post some basic introduction is in order i suppose. I've been roaming the forums for years now but didn't really had anything to say that wasn't said up to this point,hense my late introduction. I have been following the AIMSG and UC 1.13 for some time. Saying for X years just dsn't seem right Smile
The reason I am bothering you folks today of all days is ...Well, you will probably laugh at my lack of modding skills but here it goes Smile I have been playing AIMSG for some time,as said, but I kinda feel there are a few weapons in UC i would really like to get the chance to add to my AIMSG game, as it is by far my mod of choice. Like the Jericho, that I am so inlove with. To the point. My questions is is it possible to transfer items between the two. Nothing fancy just 1-2 handguns,the TAVOR series would be great asset, perhaps even a few attachments etc. Do keep in mind I am a simple waiter and my tech profficiency is limited to navigating the data folders and using the XML editor / MERC editor to add 3-4 points of Agility to Bull so he is playable (matter of view I suppose) off the bat as I love the guy,and even that took some time,I am shamed to admit. Don't want to offend any of the 2 developers. I am just a 30tish guy who plays 1-2 hours after work, cause I like guns Smile Your mods are great I don't want to offend anyone,just would be great. A simple to explain way follows:
1. Find the pics(.sti) for the Jericho in the Datauc1.13/bigitems folder.
2. place tem in the corresponding aimnas folder
3. Open the xml editor in the UC folder, Find the Jericho (here come the tedious) Write down every value.
4. Open the xml editor in the Aimnas folder, find a pistol you dislike the replace the default picture with the jerich pic from step one and two. Then change all the values to the ones you wrote down.

should be noted that i'm not even a waiter, just a liberal arts acadmic, the most useless academic of them all.

I haven't tried it myself but XML editor has some drag-and-drop capability. Search forums about for it how it's done. If it helps Madd Mugsy coded this feature so search his posts. Or test it trial by error. Probably you should open two XML editors, one from source mode and one another from target mod. Drag the item from source to target XML editor.

Also the method Rouger mentioned is inadequate because you also need to move small images and these are contained in one big sti file. You need tools for that. http://kermi.pp.fi/JA_2/Modding_Tools/STI-Edit.rar here is a tool which can do this. It's German but it has copy to clipboard and paste capabilities so it makes the job easy.
