Hello,
I just occurred to me to ask: Would it be feasible to add a feature to log in-game text to a file (with timestamps in in-game-time)?
The Captain would sure appreciate the convenience of such a log file ...

While adding code that dumps text to a file is easy, I personally don't see the benefit in this case, and you didn't state any, either. So I have no interest in this, and I assume other coders to feel the same.
I know now that it could never work between us, as much as we wanted to, it could never be! Not because you're a rabbit, but because you're black.
