I have taken over the Drassen SAM site and the Cambria SAM site, but cannot fly the chopper to Cambria because it will still get shot down. I didn't have to do any special actions for the Drassen site, is there any action that I need to perform once a SAM site has been conquered so the helicopter can get near it? I tried staffing the SAM site, but that made no difference. The airspace does not go green. Can anyone shed some light?
Another question...Does compound 18 work differently now, because my mechanic can't apply it in a slot or directly to armor.
Edit:
I think I found my answer in the archives. I have to control the SAM in D2 for the Cambria air space to be safe.
