 It often happens when autoresolving enemy invasions in sectors that have inaccessible plateaus that the enemies drop equipment up there, cluttering up sector inventory. It would be great if there was a way to get to that equipment, I like my sector inventories tidy. happy

 Unfortunately it's not an easy thing to fix. If your Obsessive compulsive disorder is strong, you can always delete the 'greyed out' items by holding the Delete key down and clicking on the object.
