Hey folks,

I could do with some help.

I've been playing the game for several weeks now and have only found 1 of the SAM sites (by accident when looking for skyrider). Someone told by the skyrider tells you where they are, but I can't get him to do this. Anyone know how I can get the info out of him, or any other method to find them without walking around every sector on the map?

 Skyrider will reveal the other sites. His announcing is, I think, linked to the progress you make.

A clue for you...two of the sam sites are immediately south of two of the cities!

 If you have skyrider, select him and tell him to go somewhere and he'll talk about sam sites, then as you go along the game he'll tell/show you about the others.

OK, thanks for the info.

I really hope he tells me soon because it's a real pain getting kit and reinforcements to Grumm when the chopper can't get anywhere near it Smile

 Consider yourself lucky. You don't know the entire JA2 map by heart, so you still have a lot of things to discover!

Sometimes, I'd like to be brainwashed, just to re-discover JA2 like if I had never played it. :silly:

yeah, it's a shame they don't move more things about for each game. I stumbled across the central SAM site last night when I was heading for somewhere else. Gave my squad a bit of a fright cos they weren't really ready for a big battle. Fortunately the newly hired Iggy arrived half way through, grabbed a gun off the nearly dead Meltdown, who was cowering behind a rock, and saved the day.

Straight after the battle skyrider told me where the other ones were, so now I'm sorted. Cheers all

 Worst SAM to capture will be Meduna one...
I have tried myself on it yesterday and it was a fierce fight.
That it was the V1.13 patch didn't do me much good either (Ai gets a lot of nasty boost) so I got it raining with grenades or as other guys on this forum calls them, GRANDADS!
