I removed the:

Harpoons - MAN THEM!

pic as I wasn't sure if it was ok to give the hoster traffic through our forum views, they might not be cool with that.

You can still look at the pic here: http://www.ebaumsworld.com/pictures/view/80550967

As I said the pos is not mine.

I know what cosplay is Smile

Which is why I asked why an item mod about a war game is titled with cosplay ^^

Anyway, what is the different between this and WF item mod? Can we have both at the same time? does it requires new exe?

Anyone plays this with HAMSTOMP (STORM1 + HAM3.5) ?

SVN works the way that you can checkout individual folders. Since the data COS folder is just there on the SVN you can only checkout that one.

However you still need a working tortoiseSVN setup for that so the archive variant is probably easier for everyone who never heard of SVN.

Have to apologize for the "harpoon" gun, i did the translation on that part of 913.

it's an underwater weapon with a spear-like cartridge, but first i thought he meant some kind of scaled down harpoon. i'll try to change the name in the next patch.

hope you guys like the MG81 twin machinegun and MAUL shotgun Very Happy

they really have to pick another name cuz cosplay sounds as gay as navy @_@

the mod covered weapons, uniforms and other equipments of many countries and eras

you could equip your team like GIs or the Vietcong did, or the major factions in WWII, or infantry men or top elite special forces of the world today. arm them up whatever way you may please and play that role to kick the queens ass.

and the sci-fi mode contains all the goofy stuff like the pulse rifle from alien and HL2, the gauss rifle from fallout etc.

does that answer your question?

Nah, is that the case in the US? My Japanese friends tell me it is mostly (but not only) girls who dress up, and it is a look only (don't touch) thing to them. I ask specifically for "gay-ness" (had to explain) and they said not at all.

on a side note..HLTV..inform Dboy the .410 is WAY too powerful..my first "this is your first deadly weapon son" shotgun was a 410 and its a sissy round made for kids and girlymen or gals..not even suitable for hunting anything over gopher size really..deer just sorta laugh atcha if ya hit em with 410 Razz i'd lower the damage about 50% because theres noway 410 blast is more potent than a ruskie 7.51x39 or a yank 5.56 ..lol

you sure your squirrel gun have the right choke for .410 slug? :rifle:

i almost dont have any personal experience with non militarized weapons...but from the ballistic charts i've been reading, most of the 410 slug loadings have comparable energy with .357mag, even out to 50 yards.

honestly i'm not even sure what was using the 410 in dbb and what was the dmg set to

but i'll definately relay that message, and thx for the feedback.

not when i'm around Very Happy

im not too sure about the weird ammo settings you referred to

in the older version BR sells everything and you pretty much have to click til your fingers are sore.

in more recent versions, BR only sells ammo in crates and boxes (with the exception of a few rare cartridges).

please be more specific and i'll see what i can do about it.

the coolness of too many of the ammo's are way too high..you can purchase so many guns..but cant purchase ammo for them until your almost to meduna..also..in the ammo types..have dboy make proper ammo's as standard so you dont get null loadouts from dropped weapons

the later is being worked on already, as for coolness value, never thought of it that way tbh.

oh and in the next version 410 slug's performance will be down to .357 mag's level.

That would be the coolness value problem.

I have suggested him to reduce all coolness value of ammunition to 1 or 0 in the next version, so upon taking over drassen you should have access to all ammunition. (if your BR progress is set to normal or so).

Well the thing is that I like editing me mercs or IMPs. So my current habit is going to Drassen only (with the Awesome BR setting, Sci-Fi and Tons of Guns) and then checking the stuff, looking for compatible equipment, toys, trying it out etc.

Remember, it's not like I want thousands of AP mags from day 1 during my normal playthrough Razz
Now, during the normal game (Normal setting, sci-fi, tons of guns) I still have to wait a boatload of time to get me some 9x18 magazines. Sad

it's hard to match ammo to weapon because many weapons share the same caliber

but having all ammo in stock on day one doesn't change gameplay much, it's useless to buy ammo without the gun anyway.

like i said, you can't buy ammo in magazines anymore, BR sells them in crates ,hundreds and thousands of rounds per box, except for really large calibers, and in the next patch, you have access to all ammo crates as soon as you take drassen

i dont see how that could bother anyone, you dont have to buy it if you dont have the gun..

Wait, I can replenish my mags from the boxes? I mean, magazines, not the gun itself.

If not, then I am not so sure about an idea of having a half of the team without ammo, and a sole grunt running around with ammo box trying to be useful. Very Happy

guess you dont know how the ammo crate works

it's an item to be merged with a gun, and when you "merge" them (just like how you would insert a magazine into the gun in the game), the crate will be "separated" into many, many magazines

for example you have a 1000rd box of 9x19mm ball, and a calico smg with mag capacity of 100, when you merge the box with the gun, you will get ten 100rd mags;
if you have a mp5k with 30rd magazine capacity, you will get 33 full 30rd magazines, and a 1/3 full 30rd magazine. (correct me if im wrong, im mathematically retarded)

most likely dropped on the ground since you cant hold that many at once.

In basic 1.13, an ammo crate clicked onto a gun of the same caliber will produce 5 magazines for that gun, if the crate holds enough ammo for that.

in dbb mod the number of magazines produced is dynamic, meaning the same ammo crate could make five 200rds belt, or ten 100rds beta cmag, or thirty some STANAGs

Hey! - This reminds me, there are some energy mags in Demise of Man which can't go to zero, if I remember this correctly they are capacitor mags for the laser weapons.

You can shoot all 100 rounds and the mag disappears. But if you shot e.g. 65 rounds (35 left out of 100) and you insert a new 100 round mag you get a 35 round mag back from the gun (they don't add like bullets).

When you merge two 35 round capacitor mags, you get one 69 round mag and onen 1 round mag, meaning you can "roll over" the last "bullet" into the other mag.

They are still no "real" mags, where you have a completely empty item as the actual mag, but pretty close to what you guys are talking about.
