So I read this discussion and registered for it.

So the black shirts can out range even the best trained night operatives because their "special forces". If you really want to go THAT in depth with it, then the queens black shirts really shouldn't be the superhuman "pros" they are (apparently) made out to be. While you can make that argument for the black shirts being able to completely out range the lower level mercs, that argument turns into silliness when you consider that they out range ALL of the mercs.

They out range people like Ivan, who is the Barry Bonds of killing people for a living. Or Reaper, Gus, Shadow, Scully, et-cetera who have are all seasoned experts. All of them have real, practical experience at killing people. Not being trained, not "practicing", but actual real combat. Who have the queens black shirts been fighting? What wars has Arulco been in for the last ten years? What opportunity have the literal hundreds of black shirts ALL had to actually get enough combat experience to be "better" then the top tier mercs?

Sorry, but the "special forces" of an isolated dictatorship aren't going to be so amazingly, spectacularly well trained that they are going to be completely superior to people who have been engaging in active conflict for YEARS. Seasoned combat veterans who can make a living killing people vs. guys who have (at best) experience fighting Miguel's rag tag bunch of rebels is a hell of a lot different then "special forces" vs. "washed up mercs".

Yup the retail wildfire , which i also got seems like a total rip off a lot of modders work in this community .
Honestly the difficulty is not that insane , infact it punishes solo operations ,like most of the JAG serie and mods . MORE MERCS equels BETER INTERRUPTS .
That and making silencers on weapons almost pointless , silencers great if you can kill , if spotted remove the damn silencers and start range blasting .
Barrel Extender got removed cause they tought it was ground breaking .
Regen booster got removed cause it was ground breaking .
Sending you to citenza was nothing more then for the AI to catch up with weapons . (sorry go take drassen right away and fend off the weak equiped counter attack at day 1 )
Day 1 the equipment of most enemies are shit, sector wise 1-2 got a rifle assault rifle those are primary target for stealing .
Dont bother to sneak up on them they auto spot at 7 , so beter to make noise let them run out the cornor blast there legs steal the weapon and kill it .

LoL at orginal retail wildfire 6.04 , jape still works , get as weapon a famas(equels a psg1) slot in a silencer, laser and rod and spring and sniperscope.
And even with reduced range to 60 you outshoot anything . and break his socalled harder mode ,
AI is not updated even if he used stay out of range and shoot bug .

Infact the game becomes pointless once you discovered how stupid the gang AI is , get a grenade laucher and you clean out a whole 40 of them , while a sniper suppress them .
Infact i really miss the AI of the first sam side counter attack way back 10 years ago .
Godsake those 10 elites took out a whole militia force , and forced me to hide inside the building . (could be i am imagining it , but it was really good first time i said wtf)
Wildfire counter attack on the sam site was like >.< oh they come in a big group . and then get stuck shooting it out with me at long range .
Time for a grenade , lol even the militia finished them Sad
Or even worst was the citenza sam site counter attack , lol was fun stealing all there weapons when they just emerged out of the water with 0 ap left .

due to your horrible grammatics ad even worse typing i can't understand if you're saying WF is a ripoff of modders work or the reverse

i hope you're meaning the latter otherwise i might be sad doesn't exist some device to laugh on people's face over the internet

and with all the "haha i'm pro gamer 1.13 and mods make the game easy" bullshit always going around here i'm quite surprised to see people complaining about this

No silly wildfire retail stolen a lot of ideas from the community of JAG2 ,
Infact breaking the scripting codes on the san mona shady lady .
The way all escort are not finishing but infact rerecruitable (like scorpion pmc 7 who he perfected) .

Makes me think he just used a mod version to create the retail version .
Well he did do a lot of work but some things just gave it away .
Its always in the trigger scripts and other scripts that give away , either you understand wth you are doing .
Or just like most people rumbling around and no idea what the hell they are doing .

A bit like your post .
The need to flame without reading trough the whole thing .
You hear a ring but dont hear the bell .
