How compatible is this mod with the new HAM alpha7? Anyone try yet? Do I have to do anything special to get the .exe working?

From the word of DBB, he states the name "COSPLAY mod" reflects the idea of "dressing up" with various gears and weapons of different types of armed forces from different eras around the world. This prime objective never changes however during the process the actual outcome is a "nightmare museum" of world arms and gears.

no conflict as far as i know, however, DBB's own exe cuts night time visual range in 1/3, if you run JA2 with ham 3.7's exe you will not get this effect. (not like you really want it)

and maybe, just maybe, certain items may conflict with enhanced description box, might have to deactivate it.

I'm not quite sure whom to ask, so I'll just post it here with and hope that the creators of DBB will read it:
Currently I'm looking into making a mini-mod for JA2MP. If it would be possible I'd like to use some resources of DBB, because of the wide variety and high quality of equipment. I would be very thankful if I could do that.

Thanks alot, red

Hi, we are finally finished, with our Ja2 Story, of course including the Cos' Mod.

http://www.razyboard.com/system/morethread-jagged-alliance-2-113-v3287-rpgii-grasyl-1323429-5814734-0.html

Unfortunately its in german, but the translate version by Google is readable ..

http://translate.google.de/translate?hl=de&sl=de&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.razyboard.com%2Fsystem%2Fmorethread-jagged-alliance-2-113-v3287-rpgii-grasyl-1323429-5814734-0.html

/change

After the long Play, we thing following thinks can be use full for Cos'.

An Alternative Techkit wich can be carried an the back, like the Medbag. ( in the Story )

Two and four Round Brust Trigger grounbs. ( in the Story )

Inner tuning parts for Guns, like heavier barrel, for example.

The New Magpull AFG "Foregrip", for better control but less, accuracy.

Different Type of Gastype nades, expensive ones which imminently explore and cheap ones which need some time to reach their full potential.

Aiming bonus for EoTech, the BARS got some, and i mean the Eo' reserve some to.

The german Bouncing Betty ( Schrappnell Mine ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfbhcqrKtno

Deliver the M1903, the Mosin and the 98k, twice once as the normal rifle and once in the Sniper version.

I know I sad this a view times in the past, but I think sight bonus, for Hats and other sunblocking Helms is still a good idea.

My buddy Johsef, make caps attachable to all regular Helms, im neutral again this idea.

I big wish are taktical versions ok the VAL, the Ak-104 to 107 and the Ak9 off course.

U can save a lot of wort, by duplicating the ww2 rails, paint them black and call them russian rails and make them compatible to all russian / eastern guns.

One of my serbian friends wish a Zastava M70, without a GL.

http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/6595/wpsjohsefarm.jpg

This "unforeseen Feature" is quite useful but not very realistic.

Many of the best russian addons are not compatible to the VSK.

The barrel extension is compatible to the EGLM, quite useful but not very realistic.

I know this must be coded, but stick nades resolve a throwing range bonus.

Generally more weapons in 6.8 SPC and 5.6 Grendel. If necessary, to anticipate the real industrie, convert some. A Ak47 in 6.8 Grendel .. hm.

The Ithaca shotgun in an Fullstock version.

An AR in 5.45mm.

Some submashineguns in 40. S&W a MP5 for example.

A bunch of muzzle loader.

Johsef like the AK-YY, what about a M16 in .30-06. ore a L86 in .303 British.

The Automag 3 Mod., an Automag fireing 7.62 Nato, linke in the original Ja2.

Weapons which attachment shoud not cost less as its attachments and not a lower coolness as its attachment.

Really nice story. Nice creativity. I had trouble following English translation, but overall it was followable.
