Think I will wait for the SCI. I have the screen res options in the inieditor but it doesn't use the res I choose. I did notice that when I choose 1440x900 when I checked the config it was No8 instead of No9. When I manually changed the config to No9 it showed in the inieditor to be the res above 1440x900.

Either way it never worked anyway. Must be doing something wrong. I just copied and paste the GameDir folder directory over to the Game folder.

Anyway I had the new mercs which was cool.

These days i'm working on ARSProject All-in-One menu, it's almost done!
Here's a screenshot chinese version of the lastest bulid 1.46:
All the Chinese text of this menu can be easily changed to English, just defines in ini files.
In face, nearly all part of this menu can be changed by ini located in LJD_ARSPROJECT\LJD.INI
By now it's these funtions:

LEFT PART:
01.)run a vbs.
02.)open a history text.
03.)run a bat file for update.
04.)link to www.

RIGHT PART:
01.)link to www.
02.)link to www.
03.)link to www.
04.)link to www.

MAIN TOP PART:
01.)button to toggle monitor color bit, 32bit or 16bit.
02.)button to toggle fullscreen or windowded.
03.)button to toggle maxium windowed mode.
04.)button to toggle interface beauty pack.
05.)button to toggle autorun last specified game.
06.)button to open JA2.ini.
07.)button to open JA2_options.ini of select game mode.
08.)realtime show curren game mode, resolution, game autorun mode, interface mode etc.
09.)combobox list of all resolutions and all game modes.
10.)if autorun game mode is toggled, specified game will automatic run in 5 secs after menu opened.

Keep on working this ARSP menu.

Now it' interface language can be toggle by one button click, and will reload at once.

I'm making an English version of this.

It's international support, you can as many language as you can, can easiley translate into your language.

What wondering me now is, i don't know which font do English people use more often?

Here is the lastest bulid v1.63, i've built in English version.

All customize ini is in LJD_ARSPROJECT\LJD.INI.
Look into this ini carefully, you will find nearly everything in this exe can be customized.

FYI: There are still some tiny parts written in chinese in your screenshot:
1. "RunVersion", at the end of this line.
2. First of the 4 Lines separated beneath "PATCH_DEV..."
3. The last of those 4 lines:"2 ... CN SVN+IOV..."

I guess that 1. and 3. are bound to the game version you are running and will probably not appear to players of english version.
But 2. might be something that could need translation yet?

The version of the mod that came with the unstable 5060 had issues. Where the area had been expanded from the standard game res you'd have a cut off so you'd only see part of the aiming cursor or it would leave behind the aim to hit cursor graphics, as if it wouldn't refresh properly.

I will try this standalone version.

Can you release the whole package with menu please.

In fact, when toggle English version, just select and click OK, some of the Chinese text will be replace with English text.
But i'll try make this more easier to see, i'll try remove any Foreign language when changing language, maybe in a few days, this will be done.
Here is the SVN of this ARSP MENU alone, just the exe and files needed, sorry it's log is Chinese.
My English is not good enough to translate so many Chinese words to English, sigh.

As for release the whole package, i must say i dare not, is that legal? Although Sirtech is no more exits( is this new right?), i still don't know if it's legal to release a whole package.

I suggest this way:
1.) Get the JA2 gold v1.12.
2.) Get the lastest game files in stable and dev SVN.
3.) Update the 1.12 with stable, then dev files.
4.) Get the lastest WF map files via SVN in 1.12 too.
5.) Put the laucher menu to this 1.12 folder, change the ini included, then test.

07.) SVN + VANILLA for English
08.) SVN UB for English.

Since you don't wanna wf, maybe iov you don't wanna too, then we get this:

Just open the LJD_ARSPROJECT\*.INI files for customize.

The lastest build v1.71, all buttons, combobox, label, etc 's positon are in the INI files.

In Windowed Mode it works perfect. But it seems there are some problems in fullscreen mode.
I just tested the 1024x600 resolution in fullscreen and it crashed on startup. Windowed mode is fine.

EDIT: Now I know the problem with special widescreen resolution in fullscreen mode. It is simply not supported by the DirectDraw2 engine the game uses.

The call to the "IDirectDraw2_SetDisplayMode()" method returns a "E_NOTIMPL" value and then the game quits. It seems DirectDraw2 is way too old to support the widescreen resolutions in fullscreen mode...
Maybe we should update to IDirectDraw7??

I didn't try windowed modes, but it behaves just like you described - crashes on startup.
And directdraw explanation makes sense.

A bug.When using new hit system and play in full screen when i target to enemy his health status and my target cursor going to mess of junk and i can't understand how much health enemy has and what my chance to hit enemy.plus when turn mode is on i cannot move my mouse to other space on screen to change view of battle so only if i click on minimap the view changed and i can use my mouse to view sector.And if my merc situated on edge of map and if i use scroll on my mouse the view change on merc and after that i can't use my mouse to change view only if i click on minimap my mouse unblock and i can use my mouse to look on the sector.

Ps.Played on 1920*1080 resolution.1680*1050 and few other.On resolutions like 1280*1024 and lower this bug occured but not often.
Plus few gameplay bugs.If play with iov new mercs in aim have no gear.And overheating system not work(or not showing).if play without iov new mercs have gear and overheating system works fine.

This bug occur if i use resolution 1920*1080,1680*1050,if my merc on the edge of map and if i use scroll wheel on my mouse the screen goes off like on the picture and mouse freez,that freez disable only if i clik on minimap and after that i can use my mouse to look at whole sector.

I have the same problem as the pics above in 1440x900 mode. Or where you see in the top pic the to hit with loads of to hit imprints on the left I get that or I'd see half of the to hit cursor missing.

I've share a package v1.58 with Chinese fans, within this:

The ARSP Launcher v1.86 can toggle from Stable version to Develop version by one click.
If you like stable version, one key, you will get v1363 with build v5008.
If you like develop version, one key, you will get v5076 with bulid v5075.
Also update other feathers, like customize skin...etc.
All customize can be found in LJD_ARSPROJECT\LJD_MAIN.INI and other ini, just open and see.
You may changed any of the interface, any of the function of the buttons.
Except only three, the title ended with "by Lejardo", and the version part "by Lejardo".
These two parts are build in the exe, can not be changed with ini.
And a button feedback to my original topic in TBSGAME.NET, this is also bulit in.
Just take these as a little respect for my works.

I will make an totally english version of this package as soon as my fever becomes better.
As metioned above, all you need is an offical JA2 with patch 1.12 and a stable version 1363.
I'll pack all other files needed in one package and share in a few days.

1. Install JA2 GOLD v 1.12
2. Overwrite with files from "ja2_v1.13_data - Revision 1407: /GameDir"
3. Overwrite with files from v1.61_PATCH_192.1407.5211.7z

OR

1. Install JA2 GOLD v 1.12
2. Overwrite with files from v1.59_FULL_192.1381.5151.7z
3. Overwrite with files from v1.61_PATCH_192.1407.5211.7z
