Well, I've finally gotten to a point where I have the aluminum rods, steel tubes, springs, quick glue and duct tape.

I've apparently failed to absorb the trick for merging the items. I'd read it as combining the quick glue and duct tape with the aluminum rod and expected the procedure to be the same as adding a scope to a rifle. However the boxes are greyed out. Where did I screw up?

Also, most of the rods I have are around 75%. Are these repairable by an NPC mechanic? My merc repairmen don't seem to be able to fix them?

Or, does it matter? Will a 75% rod adversely effect accuracy or will it just not achieve the maximum range improvement?

Got another question... tanks. Can I own tanks? If so, how can I acquire them. Heavy weapons are certainly a plus in this game. If there aren't any tanks, aren't there any other heavy weapons other than LAWS rocket launchers? By the way, I would like to know where to find them too, because I have only found the rockets in Drassen.

Saving captured mercs

In my on-going Action-Movie game, I had Raven captured on the first day in Arulco. Now I've just found her in the bottom-left corner of Alma, but the moment I enter the map, she reverts to my control with full health, no equipment, and no energy! Then a redshirt runs in and shoots her while the other guys are still at the map edge.

How do you get around this, or is this unavoidable?

High Agility versus low.

Hey, I was wondering, if I have a low Agility merc such as Gus Tarballs (65) and I'm fighting Magic (99), and they both have a gun that will probably kill the other player in 1 term such as the G11 or Barrett. Is it possible for Gus to win this (starting first) if.
1: He has level 8 and Magic 5.
or
2: They both have the same level. The question is, will a high Agility merc beat a low Agility merc if they are on the same level.

Finding the SAM sites

Hey folks,

I could do with some help.

I've been playing the game for several weeks now and have only found 1 of the SAM sites (by accident when looking for skyrider). Someone told by the skyrider tells you where they are, but I can't get him to do this. Anyone know how I can get the info out of him, or any other method to find them without walking around every sector on the map?

How to come to the roof?

Hello all you veteran guys

I am a newbie, just playing JA2 WF for 2 weeks but I enjoy it tremendously. I now trying to finish my first game, but help me to order my mercs to the roof (hoping to get some more rifles). I don't see any manual for that.

Your help is greatly appreciated.
