lockieI'm sure there wil be an update soon , be patient .
Hehehe... in fact I'm quite deep into other things right now, which are quite time consuming (read: Online Poker... but I'll probably be broke soon, and then I'll have time again to work on the mod).
And I've also pretty much run out of ideas (and good pics), of what has to be included...
However, I noticed some glitches in the last update which have been fixed and will certainly be included in the next update (for example the V-94 had no "target" cursor and was thus unusable...).
So, if anyone of you has some groundbreaking ideas of what should be done, feel free to post your wish lists... (I'm not such a great fan of including the Xth 5.56mm gun, thus wishes in that direction will probably fall on deaf ears... however, if you feel the need for more LBE items [and can provide pics for them], I'd be more than happy to include them).

lockieStill haven't came across the crossbow yet and it's not at BR's , ( what section is it under, I'd assumed misc. ?) Could flame throwers be added , perhaps along with a chainsaw ( saw the 40k model ) , perhaps some sleepgas bombs might be added for stealth ops..........and I still hate those 40mm grenades . Hmmm , if only there was some way to use grapple hooks
According to my "Awesome" BR settings, the crossbow falls under the "Rifles" tab of the "Guns" section.
Speaking for myself, smeagol, I'd be grateful to see some more of the WWII guns imported from DBB - particularly the MG42, BAR, and any .30-06 version of the Browning M1919 it may contain. Also, for those desiring a British flavour to their older guns, the Webley .38 pistol (is it in DBB to yoink?), the Lee-Enfield bolt-action rifles, and the Bren Gun for squad 'L'MG.
As to more modern weapons, I'd really, really be keen to have the M202 FLASH unit and the Carl Gustav recoilless-rifle added to the available inventory. There are more than enough WarPac rocket-launchers in Bobby Ray's arsenal - we need some NATO hardware!

is it possible to add those armors (flak jacket , guardian, spectra etc.)from original wildfire.
they look different and maybe you can add them with different protection percentage and weight.
like: flakjacket I (original from ja2) and flakjacket II (more protection and heavier)(from ja2:wildfire)
and there are those helmets they look different then in original.
to sum up: there would be like: steel helm I, Steel helm II,spectra vest I,II,III...)
like you did with those weapons you added from wildfire (ruger30,H&K MP7..)
or maybe even all items(which look different) from WF(weapons have different color, knife, machete, yelow steyer, blue calico, grey fnp90) and UB(that cannonballgun, green knife, whiteblack enfield, brown tar21).
just an idea i would really like...because those other items and weapons and weaponsounds are actually a reason for me to play the original wildfire. =)

Thx, lockie, but that .exe didn't solve the problem.
I don't know why but the difference between 2112.exe and the 100Ap.exes are significant in matters of queen-aggressiveness and enemy-behavior.
I've turned back to 2112.exe again and found the cause f

smeagol, could I trouble you with a few more additions to my gear-request list? I've just DL'd and installed DBB908, and even if I favour my own mod over playing DBB, there are some things I'd really like to see yoinked from there.
Stuff I'd love to see in the next Alpha-Mod:
- Bren Ten and S&W Model 1076
(At the moment, the game only has one handgun (Delta Elite) and one SMG (MP5/10A3) that uses the 10mm cartridge, and since removing the calibre is out of the question, why not give it a little more love?)
- Beretta Cx4 Storm
(This would make a really, really nice weapon for my 'second-stringers'. However, I'm also thinking in terms of giving more 'play' to another under-utilised calibre, in this case .40S&W. If you were to import the Cx4 and convert it to .40S&W, maybe with the thirty-round magazines and a trigger-group-gives-burst-fire option like the Calico 950, the lovers of .40S&W would have another SMG/carbine to choose if they're sick of MP5 variants. I have an image of Biff slinging one of these and thinking its space-age look make him appear "well 'ard". :devilaugh:)
- Jericho 941
(The rest of the Desert Eagle family is there; why not bring in their .40S&W 'little brother'?)
Stuff I'd like to see:
- Polish PM-84 and Beryl assault rifle
(I know, I know: they're Just Another 9mm SMG and Just Another 5.56mm AR, respectively. But given Steroid's Proud Polish Patriotism and hatred of all things Russian-associated, I'd like the option to equip him a little more... parochially than is currently possible. Dr. Q has the options of the Type-85 and QBZ, Barry has the AMD-65M... why not something for our favourite pill-popping Polack firefighting palooka?
(Of course, you could ignore both ideas/weapons out of hand.)
- Bullpup conversion kits for the SKS and Mini-14
(I don't know how much gameplay effect these kits would have, but they have a nice 'ghetto'/'MacGyver' feel to them, and even with the not-superb DBB graphics, they just look cool.)
- VP70 handgun
(This one never quite got off the ground, I know, but they did get into limited service - the British DPG used them for a while - and they have a nice look to them. Besides, we have enough full-auto MPs and SMGs - for the burst-fire nuts out there, an alternative to the Beretta 93R would be nice. The VP70's abominable trigger IRL notwithstanding. )
Stuff that would be 'nice to have', but I can live without:
- Walther P38
(an alternative to the Luger P08 as a 'WWII relic' weapon, and arguably a better-reputed one than the 'toggle-action'.)
- Type 63 SKS variant
(IIRC, IRL this one has a full-auto option and would make a nice 'firepower boost' in early-mid-game scenarios, where government forces mostly have 'normal' SKS rifles and SMGs and before the myriad AK variants show up. Type-63s IRL can be converted to use 30-rd AK mags, and so could this one be. Compatibility with the SKS 'bullpup' kit is utterly unknown to me, and perhaps better left to your whim.)
- AC-556F
(Like the Type-63, a full-auto Mini-14, even in 'conversion kit' form, would make a very nice 'police' weapon in the early-mid-game... but once again, its importation (and possible compatibility with the bullpup kit) is not a priority and left to your judgement.)
- Kimber SWAT .45, MEU(SOC) .45
(These are really, really low priority, mentioned mainly because I think they'd make nice additions to go with mercs' personalities and backgrounds - the Kimber SWAT as sidearms for Raider and Raven, the MEU(SOC) for Len and possibly Reaper, Gus, and maybe Biff if he got really delusional about how 'badass' he is. OTOH, instead we could just use standard M1911A1s and pretend that the accessories bring them up to the standards of the desired models....)
- The WP hand-grenade (I forget its name)
(We already have the thermite grenade, I know. I haven't yet had a chance to play with it, but I believe the WP grenade is lighter, more aerodynamic, and flies further than the thermite 'can', and can be packed in two-per-grenade-slot. This one goes under 'nice but skippable' because I haven't had a chance to try it out and see if it's got enough 'under the hood' to merit promotion in priority; with the pre-existence of the thermite grenade, I suspect it may not.)
That's 'all' I've got for now - and it's certainly more than enough for the time being! I might add more importation requests once I get the XML Editor working with DBB, but I'll probably let them keep for a few days. I'd imagine you need the downtime, anyway. :compcuppa:
