KaerarActually full 3D is beneficial for ballistics more than anything.
I'm hoping there is a 3D engine powering this, and that the mechanics are enough to cope with relatively good ballistic calculations (so enough weapon variables to not end up like Call of Duty's lame attempt).
The only thing that is a little worrying to me is the linear nature hinted at by the 100 missions mention. I know it's where Jagged Alliance has it's roots but I also much prefer the non-linear game that Jagged Alliance 2 became (not Unfinished Business).
We are using Unity 3D, so yes, we have a full 3D engine, although some of the finer modern visual effects will be missing due to performance restraints in the browser.
Missions does not mean linear - it just means that there are several areas of conflict (we call them contracts) you can chose from and some of them unlock through progress (but then you didn't attack the Palace with your initial team in JA2, I would assume)
