I'm trying to figure out what the items/guns are in the NightOps and the Shady Job mods. I've tried extracting as many as I can from the itemdesc.edt / itmdesc25.edt files but can't make heads or tails of half of the russian.

Can someone please post or send me a list of the weapons (and items too, if you've got time) for one or both mods in English? No need to do the obvious ones, like the MP-7 and MP5, but the ones with Russian text have me stumped.

Thanks!

MM

Found the NightOp's site with the weapons chart. (I remembered that there was some obscure "Rigby" ammo that somehow was used instead of 5.56mm in the xM29.)

Hope this helps. Unfortunately I don't speak russian either.

there are two weapons that are uncommon in there:

OC-11 TUSS (seems to be a 9mm*39 version of the AKs-74u)

TKV 0111 no idea what that is. most others are pretty clear i think

the first sniper weapon below the PKM is a "Mini dragunov" (nothing fancy)

then we have SVU-a and VSS Vintorez

woth getting from this lineup are certainly the gyurza pistol and the groza carbine version

as well as the AEK 973 assault rifle, the AN-94, the AK-108, the PKM, the SVU-a

are all cool guns as well

picture quality is top notch of course, just that the comic-style of night ops guns doesn`t quite match with other gun pictures

Here's english variation on most of the russian names. Used world.guns.ru and flipped between the -e (English) and -r (Russian) variations on the pages to confirm the ones that weren't recognizable immediately from the picture. (I must find a less alarming hobby one of these days...)

АПС -> Stechkin APS pistol

Гюрза -> Serdyukov SPS / Gyurza / Vector SR-1

ОЦ-11 "Тисс" -> OTs-11 "Tiss"

ОЦ-14 "Гроза" -> OC-14 "Groza"

АС "Вал" -> AS "VAL"

TKB-0111 -> like the AEK-971 a contender during the 1984 "Abakan" trials, similarly lost out to AN-94**

РПК-74 -> RPK-74

ПКМ -> Kalashnikov PKM

СВД -> SVD Dragunov

ОЦ-03 "СВУ-А" -> SVU-A (Snaiperskaya Vintovka Ukorochennaya - Avtomat = Short Sniper Rifle - Automatic)

ВСС "Винторез" -> VSS 'Vintorez'

ГМ-94 -> GM-94 43mm

РГ-6 -> RG-6 / 6G30

РПГ-16 "Гром" -> RPG-16

Thanks Scorpion, I originally forgot the OTs-11 "Tiss" when I was doing up the list in notepad.
