I need to know if there is any use for the following:

3 Syringes (I know one is needed to fill with elixir but why three?)

wine (some special signifigance in the father walker quest or will any alchohol do?)

beer

porn

golf clubs

remote control (I seem to remember this doing something but don't think it was that important. I'm not talking about the robot remote, or the remote bomb trigger)

cigars

two (now three) t-shirts

My memory also needs to be refreshed as to the exact usage of:

walkman

portable tv

silver platter

lameboy

fumble pack

etc.

Any information you might have on these items please post here. I'd like to replace any uneccessary items and rename others to more 1940s applications.

EDIT

Oh, I also need to know how many keys are necessary to open all locks. Vanilla Ja2 uses something like 15 but I currently am only using 8. I'd hate to have some locks be unusable by npcs because I don't have the necessary key available in the game.

Rumours, haven't checked, irrelevant:
-walkman raises morality when there's conflict between mercs.
-cigars similarly to Commandos game: drop and wait.
-porn the same function as walkman.
-Deidranna T-shirt rises possibility to be 'asked' to surrender:)

Rumour, failed:
golf clubs for striking. Doesn't work.

Remote control: MadSci quest, opens secret door

Portable TV, fumble pack and lameboy goes to X-ray detector - in vanilla JA2.

No ideas what silver platter is for.

3 Syringes: Haven't a clue.

Wine & Beer: Temporary morale boost and I think a little more energy if your wounded. After affects are temporary low morale. Hangover.

Porn: Not a clue. Maybe a morale boost or something. You could replace that with a Betty Grable pinup pic, for WW2 purposes.

Golf Clubs: Not a clue. Morale boost again? You know how doctors love there golf.

Remote Control. Only one I know of is the Robot Remote Control.

Cigars: Again Morale maybe.

T-Shirts: The Deidranna rules ones can be worn in enemy sectors and they will capture you or something like that. The I love Arulco ones I have not a clue. Civilian morale boost maybe?

Walkman: Morale boost. I also read somewhere that if you have a couple of mercs clashing with each other and one of them wears the Walkman they will ignore the merc there fighting with. Also makes your merc deaf in combat. Not a good thing to wear while fighting.

Portable TV: Morale again maybe.

Silver Platter: Only thing I remember using this for is when you steal the Golden Chalice of Chance in Balime, you use the silver platter as the replacement object when you take the chalice.

Lameboy and Fumble Pack: Are parts of the X-Ray detector that you make.

Lameboy and copper wire = Display
Xray tube and fumblepack and chewing gum = Xray Device
Xray Device and Display = Xray Detector (then you need batteries to make it work)

Keys: No clue

Well, you are right I think, portable TV isn't part of X-ray detector. But I remember it could be contained only in large pocket - because of TV. Or maybe it was in UB? Old reminiscences, faded out

There is an extra remote for opening the secret door to the queens bunker at meduna garden. Maybe it is this one.
