batumi mine problem and i3 enter crash[message #199669]

taken over batumi,sector i3 gets attacked but when i try entering to retake the game crashes.

any ideas to solve ?

try a different .exe file

ps...the mine in batumi,calvin wont hand over earnings,and mine isnt showing as earning.
theres no dialogue t claim it,is that proper ?

someone giv' em the answer or link to one of the several postings where the necessity to conquer ports in order to gain incoem from some mine is explained, thanks

I had the same problem with Calvin... It's really frustratring.

I've got the whole Town under control. I talk to him with my highest LDR mercs, and he'll only respond to Threathe, And Recruit.

When you speak to him Directly or Friendly, he just says he's got business to do and fucks off.

Any ideas?

does Suchumi mine already work for you? the idea was that you have to take SAM site / port and secure all of the seaside to establish export before the mines can start to work for you.

Yeah, I just read that. I haven't test it, I guess I'll just have to hope for the best.

Btw. How do you recruit Iron!? I'm stuck, I don't know how to recruit him. I already greased Pablo's hands, I got Irina and Ilja, just gave the passport to Kamel, and when I go down with Irina to recruit him, he just says he's had enough of that, and when I go direct, or friendly he goes, Your reputation is... bla, bla.. I would consider working for you. but he never does.

I'm trying to recriut him with Irina, and I tried giving him vodka, he won't take it.

Any ideas...?

there sure have been problems with recruiting Iron - and iirc Irina was the only one who could do it. i've succeeded once but i'm not sure about the details. as after 08.08.08 i've started RR with razing russian garrison and killing everybody there :hmm:

iirc gettin' passport to Kamel does not bother Iron but now there is another fraction already mad at you and you'll miss the chance to recruit Irina's brother. then, again, RR is full of surprises :wrysmiley:
