On a Polish site - Jagged Alliance Center, there is an interview of my authorship. I asked several questions to Norman Olsen - the man who spent a couple of years in Sir-Tech company creating Jagged Alliance 2 and Jagged Alliance 2: Unfinished Business. The interview is quite long but will surely interest you Smile It's also available in English.

This is a very interesting article which sheds a light on more than a few aspects of Ja2 and its creation. It was about time that we could read an interview with one of the Ja2 developers! Thanks, Lenn, great job!

Many answers, e.g. I always have wondered why the flame thrower never got into the game Wink

And Norman, if you should happen to read this post yourself, I really like your (and Cheng's) tilesets. The pointed roofs not only give a more realistic atmosphere, but also contribute to game difficulty (as you cannot climb them). Be sure to check out Ja2 v.1.13 and some other mods as well. I'm sure it will definitely be a nice surprise with all the new game features.

Indeed a good read. Wish you had asked him a bit more technical questions off the record too, like how the heck did they get the models from 3dsMAX into STI files, but i guess he wouldn't remember anyway.

Cool interview - he seemed quite nostalgic about the good ol' days. Too bad he hadn't tried out any fan-mods yet Smile

Thanks!
