I have read some of the guides and threads on this forum and I have seen the phrase "multiple imps" used more than once, does this refer to the ability to hire more than one IMP Merc, is this possible in 1.13?

Hey there,
I have a similar setup to abhisheksimion;
I have DANGEROUSLY made many changes to the game over the last two years ... no trail of crumbs, here.
I tried to (after the start) change the number of IMP's in the INI.
It refuses to recognize that.
I get one and only one; and no more than twenty-eight (28) MERCs.
Yes, I know, if I re-installed a clean-install and make all the changes, it will work.
In the Vengeance-mod (and Vengeance RL) I introduced two IMP-characters, and other changes; no problems.
There is sufficient warnings about making changes after the game is loaded and run for many saves or days.
Errors or crashes ensue (as in right-clicking map-screen: it used to show sector inventory and other info; NOT NOW).
So, although several tweaks to the INI work fine, the IMP changes don't.
Maybe the newer MODs improve the INI so that after game changes (Config-files: Morale, Mod, JA2.options, etc.) don't crash the game.
In short, make all changes (get all your shots) at the start, and you're set.
