I have played lots of games but JA is my absolute favorite. I grabbed Deadly Games when I was transiting through Amsterdam airport in the mid-90s and have never looked back. I played the JA2 demo till my fingers bled while waiting for the official release.

Now I am going back and installing everything from scratch (JA, JADG, JA2, JA2UB, and some of the mods) and I want to know the install order. I assume that the old DOS games stand alone, but does an install of the 1.13 engine affect JA2 and JA2UB and serve as and engine for the mods?

Oh, I tried to change my avatar and I think you are missing one in the stock avatar list. I was thinking maybe this one would be a nice addition and damn, I am handsome. Don't make me go medieval on you; we may be getting old but Gus Tarballs and I can still shoot. :maskedsniper:

Each version/mod goes with new installation into a new folder. That's me.

For JA2 1.13 -> Use cd1 to install (cd2 is not needed for 1.13) and follow the links in the main discussion forum to download the latest 1.13 version. It's installation is as easy as pressing next three or four times Smile

Beware of the options.ini file! So much choices to make Smile
