I have this vague memory in the back of my mind, that it's possible to manually control the otherwise moronic Militia by changing something in the INI... is that true? And how do I do it, what do I look for? (Talking about AR here...)

Talk to them. You either have to be within a certain range or wear a headset.

I have to add: I was wrong to call the Militia moronic. I don't know how you did it, but they have really improved! I just defended the Drassen SAM base with only Ira and Flo (Ira had exp 5, but Flo was entirely green) plus 6 green Militias agains more than 40 enemies (mostly blackshirts) and one green militia was the only casualty on my side! The militia took cover and shot so well, I'm quite sure they managed to kill more than one enemy per militia (7 or 8 between the six of 'em).

So: Thanks for the AI improvement, whoever did it!

They are, but as far as I know, greens are a bit dumber than the rest.

for me Green>Admin Red>Light-Blue Black>=Dark Blue

I think Militia has to be a little improved,they should stick close to mercs,like 3-5 militiamans for each merc.Would be very awesome if it was possible to order Militia to Guard a certain point or certain NPC/Merc
