Playing as a pure imperial is possible if one is cautious - don't do chaotic actions, and be careful when picking up enemy gear. Enemy gear can be tainted, which causes your merc to be slowly corrupted.
A mixed team (loyalists and heretics) will have severe morale problems on higher levels.

Hey! Been playing 1.13 for a couple of months now and just started playing this mod. I love it! Some suspension of disbelief is needed to get around the old story cheeky But otherwyise it's great.
All the stuff with corruption and chaos cultists adds a good bit of atmosphere and their in game affects are are awesome. I'm going to try a full psycker team and bring about Tzeentch's plans for this backwater planet. big grin
I do have one question, where can I buy bolter ammunition and plasma weapons?

Again, awesome work on this mod and to everyone who worked on 1.13.

 Hi Redrum, welcome to the eye of terror the pit!

If I remember correctly, I've distributed the wh40k gear to chaos champions only (I think the commissar and battle sister IMPs get some gear though) - so in order to acquire a bolter, you have to kill a chaos champion wielding it. You can simply add it to Bobby Rays or merchants... or distribute it to standard soldiers heretics via enemy item choice xmls.

I think there is some wh40k-specific xml (EnemyChampions.xml or so, haven't played in ages) where champions and their gear are defined.

I know now that it could never work between us, as much as we wanted to, it could never be! Not because you're a rabbit, but because you're black.

If you want, you can donate to me. This will not affect how and what I code, and I will not code specific features in return. I will be thankful though.
