Hey guys, I would appreciate some help running Wildfire on a win 8 machine. Basically all I get is a black screen, and then I just force quit it.
I tried to mimic the advice for JA2 in these posts, but it didn't help.

I couldn't find a file for Wildfire where I could change the intro value from 1 to 0.
Any advice?

Thanks for the reply. There wasn't an option for Jagged Alliance Wildfire in the list of programs which could be allowed. Also, do I need Jagged Alliance 2 to play Jagged Alliance Wildfire? I thought WF is a stand alone expansion.

It seems no here has troubleshooted WF for Win 8 before, so I contacted Topware Int- I'll see what they see, and post any useful advice here.
Really hating win 8 now.
