Externalised Taunts
OK, so I tried to externalise Sandro's enemy taunts to .edts, but I went berserk and here are the results:
Enemies will randomly choose their taunt from an enitre pool of applicable ones.
All taunts can be stored in TableData/EnemyTaunts.xml.
New taunt can be defined using this scheme:

Overview:
- any taunt can be specifed to be usable in only certain situations (can be in several),
- any taunt can be used only by enemy with specified properties - attitude, gender, class, health, etc.
- any taunt can be used against character with specified properties - attitude, gender, class, health, etc.
- any taunt can be used by enemies only if specific fact is set, or if certain game progress is achieved,
- attitude - to differentiate between enemies and keep some kind of continuity in their quotes, I divided their quotes depending on their attitude: aggressive = blood-thirsty, brave = arrogant, cunning = snarky, defensive = level-headed. Of course, generic taunts will be used by all types of enemies, while others can be used by some of them.
- specified enemy profile - now it should be possible to add exclusive quotes to specific enemy profiles (more individuality),
- specified target merc profile - taunts will be used only against specified merc.
- milita vs enemies - milita taunts enemies, enemies taunt milita too (unless taunt is limited to certain class). Because why not?

Currently, I added all previously hard-coded taunts to .xml and added "some" new ones. There should be around 300 unique taunts at the moment. Limit is currently set to 2048. Should solve the problem of taunts repeating too often...

Update:
- ridiculous amount of tags: attack, hit, miss, kill, head pop, blinded, type of attack, is target a zombie...
- ripostes to merc quotes,
- taunts can now make noise,
- bumped up amount of taunts to respectable 733, mostly thanks to your contributions guys,
- accidently squashed bug with incorrect noise notifications ("hears scream" instead of "hears explosion" etc.)
Ripostes:
At the moment enemies can react to quotes "enemy detected", "1st enemy detected", "multiple enemies detected", "bullet flew by", "under heavy fire", as these are most likely to be used in combat. In the first three cases, riposting enemy will be chosen randomly from all enemy witnesses, latter two - last enemy to attack this merc will taunt.
Enemy's riposte will come as soon as merc quote is finished.
Currently only few mercs have their ripostes added.
Noisy taunts:
Taunts can be handled like other noises in game - shots, explosions, etc., meaning:
- they will be displayed only if someone from our team is close enough to hear them,
- they can be heard even if you don't see enemy (with twist of his name changed to "unknown voice". Yay.)
- volume of taunts is configurable in .ini.
Switchable on and off with TAUNT_MAKE_NOISE in Taunts_Settings.ini. Also, change TAUNT_ONLY_VISIBLE_ENEMIES to TRUE if you don't want unnoticed enemies to betray their positions.

Additional notes:
- changed "Grunty is a whale" jokes to refer to Turtle. Come on, Grunty has 79 agility! Or am I missing something?
- taunts specifically referring to mercs' bios and personalities are limited to elite enemies, as regular army and admins probably never heard of them.

I agree with you slax, that's why I posted them on the forum, so they can be corrected and get the better and funnyer results. Slax english, german, french and spanish are second languages for me, so please step in and help - i'll apreciate it!
Anv, as you see, the file got pretty big in no time and unfortunately it also looks like a mess...
I suggest a little bit of structuring, for example:
- 2 files, one for general enemy taunts and the second for enemy specific responses to what mercs are saying.
- the file for general taunts should be structured based on actions:
run away, spotted, shooting - so that some one could read the lines easily, right now if you want to add something you have to search the whole file to see if it isn't already in and the append at the end.
and you may not even find the thing you want...
