I've just installed the x-mas AIMNAS release and am experiencing a strange problem.

I'm editing MERCS in the MERCprofile xml editor and the changes don't appear in the game. Which is strange, because I changed the mercprofile.xml in every folder (READ_PROFILE_DATA_FROM_XML = TRUE) and yet nothing seems to work.

I have problem with this "jagged alliance 2 1.13 windowed mode requires a color depth of 16bpp or less"

Edit:

Solved by tweaking the INI file by INI Editory and setting its resolution to 1024x768

IF only AIMNAS has fully English then it would be perfect mod.

Is it normal that most boxes are empty? I've just took over the Drassen mine and it the mine compound all of the boxes/lockers are empty.

Are you playing with big maps? That would be an explanation, I think.

Yes, I'm playing with big maps. They're pretty impressive and sure make playing on INSANE a lot more interesting.

The game plays smooth overall (I'm playing on win xp), but I noticed it gets a bit choppy in the equipment screens.

It's normal...smeagol said to set "enemies drop all items" instead.

Scheduled build for the 1st of July postponed for unknown time. Blame Microsoft. I'm serious.
Resolved.

Using the June 2, 2014 SCI, I noticed the following oddity:

During turnbased mode, with the inventory open (~ key), the frame rate drops a lot. To be clear I mean the animation rate, it takes 5 times longer for a shot to cross the screen, the animation and movement are very slow. Closeing the inventory panel returns the game to normal. Could it have anything to do with an INI setting? Or is it a bug?

Using the June 2, 2014 SCI, a squad consisting of Ira and Miguel, calling in a group of militia, turn based mode starts, then after the 1st turn, goes to auto resolve. What could be causing this?

Hello,

Im coming back to game after a while and im really amazed by amount of changes.

I wanted to download newest pack but im pretty confused.

Those packages in this topic are marked as "Unstable" and "Beta" versions with users as testers.

Are there any "Stable" packages out there? Not most recent but stable and not marked as betas? I dont need a fancy one click installers i can handle more complicated ways of updating/installing.

I remember that you could update your v.1.13 to newest version using SVN server but its no longer availabile :/

Latest stable release is the 4870 build.

For a download link check RoWas signature (for example in this thread: 4870 official thread)

Yes, the last stable release is from a while back. The new features are all still in beta stage.

Hey Depri, few issues with latest build; mainly that the disease subimages for Flugente's addon were left out.

Fixed in GameDir r2121, so it will be in the next SCI. Also, Depri can only include what has been committed first Wink

It's not THAT complicated (at least if VS is updated with the latest patches Wink ).
Just follow the instructions in this post -> http://www.ja-galaxy-forum.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/301086/Quick_Guide_for_Compiling_and_#Post301086

so I'm playin now on expert ver, 7535 and it's really hard...
my previous playtrough was with ver 7130 and I don't remember it being so hard..
i've set it to slow equipment progression and regular enemies with low quality guns are ridiculously accurate and are organizing amazingly fast... nearly every "interrupt" and "first turn" is theirs... not to mention when I finally take the sector they are back with reinforcements in less than a day...
did you make the game harder in latest versions?
Hell, I have problems even in mr claus's boxing ring...

Older versions of AIMNAS don't have food items, it would be wise to check which one you have.

The gear selection requires a relatively new exe. If your AIMNAS exe is older than that, the feature won't be there.

The AIMNAS subforum is where you can ask specific questions to that mod.

Greetings, I am new to unstable builds, and would like to ask a question. I downloaded the latest SCI release and installed it properly, yet when I go to configure settings such as Disease and Dynamic Dialogue in the INI Editor, I find that they are all display missing property value, and that I cannot modify them in any possible way. I cannot seem to find the new IMP gear selection thing either.

Well i would like to know, which one of the Depri builds is the most stable and have all the updated features? i have the latest one, the SCI 7679, but i feel that it lacks something, for example i'm not being able to transfer militia in the menu map. (that, or i just totally forgot how to play the game after months)
