THQ Nordic has the license now, so they may be tempted to try something.
It can be related to the board game alone, though. They allowed Underground Games to launch the project.
Maybe this was a teaser or test for future projects, to see if the audience is there.
Pure speculations on my part, I'm curious about all this.
Thank you for spotting it.

 As much as I would love to see another JA game, I am worried that without heavy financial resources backing it, the game will never exceed today's standards and character the original had.

But hey, we can dream!
