Hello. As you know, at the beginning of JA2 in AIM web site, mission fees differenciate according to the hiring time. We may hire the mercs for one day, one week or two weeks. Also we may or may not buy the gear for the merc.
To my knowledge. In UB this is different. You just pay once for the whole mission. A fee which includes everything. Medical deposit and gear.
I finished JA2 recently and now started to UB. I have gold version and 1.13 installed (build 7609). Running on windows 10. Problem is, the payment system in UB is like JA2. I get options to hire the mercs for one day, one week or two weeks. Also there is the option to buy gear or not.
To be able to start the game, I hired the mercs for one day only and they became hired for whole mission. I mean they don't have a contract expiring time shown in the strategic screen view. Since the one day payment is so low, I was able to hire Igor, Thor, Grunty, Trevor and Ivan(Ivan without gear).
Is this a bug? I tweaked some of the settings in the ub1.13 ini file. Can this be the reason?
