Please tell me:
I got the best soldiers with me. Each of them not less then 90 points on marksmanship.
Got for each of my troopers assault rifles. When I aim, I use almost always maximum APs.
But nevertheless out of 10 times I hit about 5 times.
Sometimes I don`t even hit an enemy standing on the next square.
How comes?

Yeah, makes me wonder how did all the veteran mercs live through previous missions with such accuracy ;)
I think mod documentation with all the attached calculations should make it easier to understand the formulas behind hitting people.

I found out, what is the source of the problem. I chose the new chance to hit system, when I started the campaign.
Take the old CTH system and the soldiers hit again reliably.

It's multilanguage.
It'll detect the language you have installed automatically.

With Alt+Enter you can also change between full screen and windowed mode at any time and change the resolution of the window with your mouse.
If you have an nVidia graphics card or are using Intel integrated graphics, I would suggest to play at the original resolution (640x480) and use the "Integer Scaling" option the nVidia and Intel graphics panel added recently.
That way you will get a perfectly sharp picture while playing in full screen.
Also 640x480 scales perfectly into 1440p, if you happen to have a WQHD monitor (2560x1440px) the game will upscale to 1920x1440p, displaying everything perfectly sharp.
If you have an AMD graphics card (like me) you will have to wait a few more months for them to add the "Integer Scaling" option to the Radeon Settings.
It was voted for in the last AMD community vote so they're probably working on it already, however it might take them quiet a while to add it finally.
