This is the prep work I did for the first map making project I want to do in JA:F editor. I am trying to figure out the editor so far and I am making good progress (once your RTFM it's no so hard). The final stage will be streaming live on Twitch.tv the whole Omerta rebuild. Fingers crossed.

Well so far there's only one set of houses that have proper debris. And we lack wooden huts. Apparently on San Hermanos wood is sacred so your cheapest building material is corrugated metal.

Recreating old stuff is flair for everyone, who loves the series. Otherwise i see a lot of opportunities to create new stuff, the fans are not fed up with. I think a lot of work could flow into a new experience. Especially when the same assets are not available anymore. I

Well, I kinda agree, but the above project was more of a test to see how close I can come to JA2 feeling in JAF. It was a test, above anything else. The JAF editor is way way more generous than JA2 editor and you can make way more gorgeous sectors that you ever could in JA2.
