 Win 10 - Runtime Error on Laptop Shutdown[message #363365]

Hey folks!
I haven't played JA2 in... years and years. Today I had the suddent urge to do so, so I reinstalled it, looked to see what the community patching scene is like, grabbed 1.13, and started!
The game loads properly, the intro videos play, and I can futz around the laptop without issue. Changes I made through INI Editor are present. However, whenever I click "Shut Down" on the laptop, I get a runtime error that says it is trying to create a log, but does not seem to do so...
I'm running Windows 10, JA2 Gold edition from Steam, and the latest SCI edition of 1.13.
Any advice on where I'm going wrong, and/or is there a different version of 1.13 I should use?
