Several civilian faction NPCs seem to be broken they are placed on map as enemy soldiers instead of civilians (even if they have correct MercProfile set in detailed placement. Thus, their dialogue (and possibly any quests) are broken.
Mainly:
L14: Walter Smirnoff (ID 73) (the head of Gun Runners, has some dialogue, but doesn't tell much apart from "a new customer is always welcome" and mentioning Tony, perhaps there was an unfinished quest? All the other GR depot heads say to go see Walter if we want to buy guns) .
D1 Gun Runner (ID 152)
I16 Gun Runner (ID 154)
B16 Gun Runner (ID 199)
(the other two NPC Gun Runners E of Callisto and down south seem ok)
D13 Woltz ("Crepaton interrogator" aka police deputy) (does make police hostile, maybe intended, but not really clear why should police suddenly attack out of blue when he sees us)
C13 Lynn (her dialogue seems broken, says won't speak when we have target on our heads, even after clearing sector)
and possibly others, I didn't check all sectors (could be done in editor sector summary, whenever enemies have one or more detailed profiles there some are legit, some might be bugs).
I did try editing the maps to make them civilians successfully, most of them had some new dialogue, so I guess it's a bug not a feature.
Another thing, Kingpin immediately turns hostile (blinking red) after finishing the initial MOC quest conversation, even when starting a completely new game. No idea why.

Troy subway (UBT) first level basement has one-way teleport exit to Calisto in the subway parking lot. It's on level 1 and nowhere near the train platforms, trains to Calisto are supposed to go from lvl.2 and a platform 2. See attached screenshot:

Took me by a surprise, as I expected it was just exit back to street level of Troy and had to cheat to get back there from Calisto in time.

heya, I'm playing the UC campaign (version 9144) on JA2 1.13 8675 and the game gets exteremly laggy in some cities. I'm playing it on Win10.. have searched through the forum and found some similar posts, but no answers.. Anybody know any fix for that issue?
Edit: the game somehow triggered multiple processes in the background. I've stopped the redundant ones and looks like it works fine now..

Cerhio wrote on Tue, 23 May 2023 21:50Elhi's voice seems to be completely buggered. It appears that some of her voice files don't work at all and I just get garbled static. Anyone know a fix for that or just a way of getting rid of the garbled voice files for Elhi?
I'm using the latest version of UC with the latest compatible version of 1.13.
Also,
If anyone is having problems UC-113 on Windows 10, check out CnCDDraw. I've tried every single Windows 10 fix and this one is the most stable. Desktop doesn't pop in and you can actually alt-tab in and out of JA2.

No way arround creating new voice and sound files for her ...
Using a combination of tools like xVA Synth and xVATrainer (both by Dan Ruta) (rather huge, iirc, we're talking about ~13GB each, and that's without voice-files ...) or something simular (note, not all tools of that kind are freeware)
and time and effort
You can look up what she's supposed to say in her .edt-files (text in subtitles-box)
use the tools to train and create a new voice
feed that new voice with text and pronounciation-marks (of tools) until it's ok
regarding the pronounciation, you may should consider to also use/try other tools for that part (there are quite a few, hard part is to get something freeware)
replace the ogg./.wav/.mp3 files you locate for Elhi with the new ones created by you
That's the rough rundown, if you want i good sounding voice it depends on how much time you spent on work with the tools (train voice, adjust pronounciation, quality of output created, etc, pp). after that it's just replacing existing files and be carefull to match things like Herz and such to what the game can process)
There are also existing, pre-build voices that could be used with text. But that may sounds out of place ingame or can result in some possible legal shenanigans (if you want to make it public)
