I finally started working on them.

So far I got battlesounds:

57 - 65

I'll do some more today I think.
I should finish all of them today or tomorrow.

I'd like to ask anybody to do NPC sounds and leave battlesounds for me to avoid confusion.

Btw. who's the author of 065? Those files are superior Very Happy

I am cleaning NPC 57 speeches, but it is a hard work. They are different volumes, recorded in different moments and with different background noise.

Battlesounds are pretty much the same.

It's fair easy to cut out the noise from them using Adobe Audition 2.0, so I'll be finishing them shortly.

It would be great to have a dynamic www table like progress report, so each of us would be able to tick sounds which are done.

So far I got 57 - 69

Only 140 files left in this folder Razz

Scorpion, please, make a progress post and update it when cleaned sounds are available.
Example of such post:

057 battlesnd - done
057 speech - in work
057 npcspeech - todo

or whatever form you can think of.

one question: do i have to do the sound cleanup myself or are there specialists who will do that?

i am about to finish my characters voice recording, so is there anyone who i should send the files directly to for cleanup?

and should i do anything to the files prior to sending them, converting them into a special format or sound quality?

I suggest saving them as .wav or .flac (or other lossless) files in 22050 Hz, mono.

22050 Hz, mono is enough for voices (especially for such an old engine).

You can send them to me for example, so I can clean them from noise and apply dynamic compression.

sending them to me might also not be totally wrong
correct file names are useful too. at least the numbers

first record is "character number_000.WAV"
second record "character number_001.WAV"

and so on

gaps also give +1

for me in .wav if that's okay Wink

yes, split into individual files and named according to my above posting

each record in the .edt represents one .wav file
