After finishing JA2:UB, the next logical step is hey, lets play some user made campaigns. Searching around, first one that comes up is Bear Pit #1. Now here comes my issue. I get my sqaud to Varrez and clear out the town, but there is no Betty Fung. And without her, no laptop fix. Basically I just wanted to make sure if this is my game messing up and laughing at me or if this is an intended part of the modifications.

we3ll , im a bit later getting there , but as soon as i have pacified the town i,ll get back to ya. i'm there now ! also didnt find the "someone " just outside , tho it was dark hehe , hmmm, fed up now so, i'll play tomorrow night .

EDIT : "someone" is miguel , recruitable . Betty is in varrez , also "tex" , recruitable .

update .. bloody hard with lots of enemies (30+) in new sections , wheres the hospital?!! enjoyin it tho ,if you havnt tried it it's worth some time . good old bearpit. reason i hadnt tried mods before was no bloomin broadband connection !so too slow d/loads , hah !

had a wee problem , there seems to be an exit in the lower missile area which , if you use it introduces save/load game errors . it obviously sjouldnt be there , but i tried anyway !! now bloody maps wont load . so a warning to any bearpit modding adventurers out there.

Yeah it is a bug, game crashes when I tried it just about a month ago, once I got a loading map screen like entering a basement, then evrything freezes and my mercs r stuck in a black, blank map with no exit, walls, graffics or shi... Nasty and damn irritating, I thought it would contain something extra, like a hidden cache or somthin but na... damn... to bad...

lower missile area , start in a room and false exit is at south / left door , you'll see the brown exit sign appearing , DONT enter !

havn't noticed any really , quite enjoyed mod , didnt find any characters though for new quests , new maps only, or maybe i missed em ! not easy tho .
